The delaware valley is holding up quite well compared to the rest of the country, that`s as long as we keep bailing out the banks.

  2. Unstable Isotope says:

Wow, Michigan looks like it’s really suffering. I see SC has a lot of unemployed. I guess they’re lucky because Gov. Sanford will pray for them and wish them luck.

  3. pandora says:

Geez, look at the entire west coast.

  4. nemski says:

The federally subsidized farming belt looks good.

  5. Shoe Throwing Instructor says:

Nemsi; and unstable; the sedish solution to the banking crisis is really gaining momemtum on the economic blogs. Sweden nationalized there 6 largest banks and then resold them after the crisis was over. Every body from Paul Krugman To Barry Ritkolz is now saying that`s a much better way to handle it.

  6. Unstable Isotope says:

Yeah, I think pretty much everyone except Geithner and Summers thinks we need to “preprivatize” some of the banks. I think we need to do something about all these too-big-to-fail entities, like AIG. We need to break them up and put controls in place so that one company can’t bring down the entire world economy.

  7. Nancy says:

Somewhat off topic – WNJ item today – Sen. Tom Carper, D-Del., the Free Enterprise Award from the NCC Chamber of Commerce. NICE!!!!!

  8. Obama’s economy is doing gangbusters.

  9. Shoe Throwing Instructor says:

Rebuild the delaware G.O.P.; you are a walking oxymoron. you have zero interest in rebuilding or economy. Your onlly solution is to extend the first finger of your left hand and stroke it with your first finger of your right hand and say NA,NA,NA,NA. Intelligent discussion of solutions are of no interest to you our your party, the blame game is all you care to engage in. But that`s the only attitude an elitists can take, only appear to be concerned about the general welfare at election time. That happens to fit the M.O. of Mike Castle as well.
