Kim Williams of Fix Red Clay Tosses Her Name Into The Ring
Kim Williams of Fix Red Clay has filed to run for the District E seat on the Red Clay School Board. She is running against incumbent Margurite (Peggy) Vavalla. For those of you not familiar with the blog its mission statement is clear:
This blog was created by Red Clay parents Anne O’Malia & Kim Williams. Our purpose is to bring people together who want to help make a difference in public education.
For over a year Kim and Anne have provided information on the Red Clay Consolidated School District, as well as information concerning educational issues at the state and federal level. Fix Red Clay always has its finger on the pulse of the District which, in my opinion, makes Kim uniquely qualified to bring a new outlook to this position. In addition to running Fix Red Clay, Kim also has children attending Red Clay schools – another plus.
Kim Williams has agreed to (formally) share her vision for Red Clay with Delaware Liberal. I will be posting on her positions next week, so stay tuned!
Good luck, Kim. School Board is a big, usually thankless, job. (So much for the bloggers as slackers meme!)

Good luck to Kim and I hope that she also tells us how readers here can help her with her campaign!
Will she take on the taxpayer-subsidized private school temporarily occupying the site of High School?
