Ron Williams Calls in Rush Limpbaugh To Save Limp Fundraiser

The Gridiron Dinner & Show is an annual horrible train wreck in which clubby backslapping insiders pay $150 for cocktails and the privilege of listening to Delaware pols lampooned half-heartedly by having their names inserted into the song “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina” from the 1978 musical Evita. Hilarious!

If that does not sound horrible enough for you – Rush Limbaugh is a special (by video) guest.

(Rush) Limbaugh has done a taped introduction to the roast of Delaware politicians and business leaders for several years now. This one promises to be a show stopper — before the show even starts — by the recently described de facto leader of the Republican Party.

Oh boy!

Granted, raising money for scholarships for senior communications majors at Delaware State and University of Delaware is a worthy cause – but unless the admission includes metal spikes that I can drive into my eyes and ears, count me out.
