This is the estate’s historic wine and is highly representative of the qualities of Carmignano. It is produced from Sangiovese (80%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (20%). Complex aromas of blackberry, plum and mineral follow through to a full-bodied palate, with fine tannins and a fresh finish.

$27.00

BAVIO Sangiovese

Sourced entirely from the renowned Chianti region, the vineyards are located on well-exposed terrain at altitudes of 1,000 feet or more. Galestro clay soils impart the wine’s elegance and refinement, while the well-drained Albarese limestone soils impart rich and full-bodied characteristics.
$13.00

BAVIO Pinot Grigio

Collio Goriziano, the most acclaimed region of Friuli with hilly terrain and perfectly drained soils; the Rotaliano plain, a remarkable cool and airy region of Trentino, with soils formed from limestone and granite deposits carried down from the Dolomites by the Noce River.

Picket Fence Chardonnay

Picket Fence Chardonnay

This richly textured wine has the backbone and balance one associates with Russian River Valley Chardonnays. Beautiful Meyer lemon notes and crisp fruit with hints of bright apple mingle with the toasted oak components of caramelized brown spices, resulting in a rich, sensuous wine that coats the mouth with a long, silky finish.”
