Love him or hate him, you know what camp you’re in. Tom Waits is ‘bulo’s role model.  So, baby, this one’s from the heart.

I’d no more click on one of those videos than I’d stick knitting needles in my ears.

  2. Memo to (him)self: “Whittle Jason into kindlin’ “.

  3. jason330 says:

Let’s just say that I like the stuff on the bottom shelf.

  4. “Jason got rained on with his own .38. And nobody flinched down by the arcade…”

  5. It’s funny, I know you were going to post this and yesterday in my car whilst listening to Sirius a Tom Wait song came on. Hold On I think it is called. I don’t think I ever listened to one of his songs. I think I have/had him confused with some other “Waite” guy.

The song was good and the guy has a deep voice, so I’m not where jason is, but I imagine if I had a choice I would still try to find something else

  6. The guy is the ultimate in acquired tastes, ‘bulo grants you. But once you’ve acquired it, it’s got you in its clutches for good. In ‘bulo’s case, he first saw Waits at the old Main Point back in 1975, so there’s a lot of history.

Are you like 90 years old?

  8. “And the clock ticks out like a dripping faucet
’til Jason’s full of rag water and bitters and blue ruin…”
