Good grief! Rove vs. Blackwater! I am really surprised that Blackwater has survived this far. I must have missed my George Soros newsletter on the evils of Blackwater, I guess. So you know what to do — vote and tell us who you picked.

Surprised? It is the “Bracket of Evil!” 😉

  2. anon says:

    Where’s Yoko Ono?

  3. Von Cracker says:

I blame the Blackwater surge on this season’s 24.

Rove shall win. He is the personification of all that is wrong with politics.

  4. Geezer says:

Where the heck is Dick Cheney?

  5. cassandra_m says:

Ahh — 24. I don’t get to see that, so perhaps that is what I am missing.

I picked Rove for the win. He is the poster child for dysfunctional politics.

  6. Weer'd Beard says:

Remember that question of who is more tollerant, liberals or conservatives? : ]

  7. Von Cracker says:

    non-applicable.

  8. Geezer says:

“Remember that question of who is more tollerant, liberals or conservatives?”

Hey, Bernie Goldberg had a whole book — well, it was shaped like a book, anyway — listing the 100 most dangerous liberals in the country. Ann Coulter has founded a cottage industry whipping her dead horse of scorn.

Conservatives are tolerant of various strains of conservatism. Liberals are tolerant of everything but conservatives, but if there are no conservatives around, they’ll go after each other.

  9. Von Cracker says:

Geezer’s referring to the cottage industry of Wingnut Welfare.

You see, not many individuals read Coulter, Goldberg, and the like, but right think tanks and associations buy those books in bulk, inflating the sales numbers and giving the hack author the opportunity to state that they wrote a “Bestseller”.

  10. Unstable Isotope says:

Well, Blackwater did a lot of damage but Rove enabled the Blackwaters of the world, so I voted for Rove. Personally, I think Cheney should’ve won the whole thing.

  11. Delaware Dem says:

Yes, Weerd Beard, we are intolerant of Evil. You got us! We admit it. We are intolerant of horrible, evil, disgusting, vicious monsters.

  12. anon says:

Weerd is sitting in the stands wearing a Blackwater cap waving a giant foam #1 finger.

  13. Rove FTW.

24 is the shiznit. I was iffy about this season, but it is finally picking up. Hot redheaded agents help.

  14. Weer'd Beard says:

    Ahhh Weapons-grade Irony! : ]

  15. Von Cracker says:

Yes, the redheaded special agent certainly has a set on her….

I’ve only watched this season and last, with this one being soooo much better. But everyone who’s a fan of the show mentions that the first couple seasons were the best by far….which is usually the case with most series…

  16. Unstable Isotope says:

    VC,

The first season of 24 was great. The second was pretty good, but then it really went downhill. I stopped watching when I heard it had become a conservative fantasy show.

  17. Von Cracker says:

I’ll netflick the first couple then….right after my Hogan’s Heroes. 🙂

  18. This season is bashing a Blackwater-type company and pitting them as the antagonist. That’s very anti-conservative, IMO.
