Still don’t have the knack of the Family Friendly!   Teabagging news you can use:

  • Rachel Maddow and Ana Marie Cox do a Pulitzer-worthy analysis of Teabagging, ranging from the FoxNoise complicity, to Senatorial teabagging, to the long term effects of teabagging on the Conservative Movement.  Must See TV:

  • ACORN is taking attendance at the Teabagging!  Sign absolutely nothing that might count you as committed to your Teabagging beliefs!  (Pandora linked to this Thursday night, but this deserved a repeat.  Those crazy ACORN people!)
  • The Teabaggers have infiltrated the WaPo discussions and are demanding as much attention as Al Sharpton.

Is anyone speaking at one of Delaware tea parties? Like Copeland, Protack, O’Donnell or Castle? If so, I hope someone has a video camera.

  2. jason330 says:

I’ll be trying to run dow the rumor that Mike Castle is speaking at the teabagging of Wilmington

Like Steele, I can’t imagine that he’d be welcome, so we’ll see.

If anybody knows anything about Castle’s intentions please drop a note here or in the tipline.

  3. jason330 says:

Shirley Vandever seems pretty clued in on the DE teabgging so I left a comment at he blog asking about Castle.

  4. Unstable Isotope says:

Isn’t there a Wilmington Tea Party Facebook group? Any invited speakers should be listed there, I think.

Anyway, apparently Congressional staffers are getting teabagged by fax.

  5. As troubling as I find the teabagging visual, I have to say I enjoyed the hell out of watching those two ladies discuss it.

Hell. Even *that* sounds immoral to say.

  6. jason330 says:

    UI,

    That fax is a keeper.

    I’ll check the facebook group.

  7. I think Protack is involved with one of the up north events, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he will be speaking at all.

There will be one in Laurel, and I am 50/50 about showing up just to cover it for the blog. I figure if any of the events are going to be the most interesting, a western Sussex Teabagging event would be.

  8. We need Mike Matthews to come down with his audio recorder and ask the old folks if they knew that teabagging had a sexual connotation, and listen to their reaction when they are told. i don’t have the balls to do it.

    You owe me a keyboard.

  10. Unstable Isotope says:

Rick Santelli, the father of the 2009 tea parties, wants nothing to do with them.

I did a quick & dirty FB search. I found three groups, one for “Delaware Tea Party” and 2 for “Wilmington Tea Party.” The largest group had 102 members. I looked through the “attending” list and Charlie Copeland was listed. Bill Lee was listed as “declined” and Mike Protack was listed at “not yet responded.”

Yes Rachel and Cox were interesting, However I do believe that there use of the word Tea bagging over and over leads one to believe that the word has more than one meaning.

By the way Mike P was down here in Sussex this week on that stupid radio station WDMG telling all the chicken farmers how tea bagging was moving this nation, however he failed to explain just what they are upset about other than losing the election. For all the things he named AIG< Bank bailouts ect all started when his President was in power.

Brian owes me a keyboard too.

However I do believe that there use of the word Tea bagging over and over leads one to believe that the word has more than one meaning.

    Oh Dear.
