Castle will also no doubt express some confusion about why in the world Arlen Specter would want to leave such a fine institution. Then at 5:05 you can hear Senator Tom Carper explain that his vote against the Durbin amendment to the bankruptcy bill (which would have let a small number of well screened homeowners renegotiate terms with their banks) had nothing what-so-ever to do with the $1.5 million he got from the banks, but was a… wait for it….VOTE FOR DELAWARE JOBS!! (What a great guy!) Carper will also, no doubt, express some confusion about why in the world Arlen Specter would want to leave such a fine institution as the GOP and state that he and Arlen are both kick-ass moderates of the highest order.
