mission-accomplished

Six long years since victory in Iraq.

I’d like to join David in praising George Bush for his iron will and unflinching devotion to peevish, dry-drunk lunacy.  Also, Tom Carper, Mike Castle and Joe Biden.

Really great courage everyone demonstrated.   First rate job guys!

Just a reminder of what the President really said. http://www.cnn.com/2003/US/05/01/bush.transcript/

What part was incorrect? We did prevail in that battle. Time showed that our troops were up to whatever challenge. The war was not over and we did have many difficult days ahead. We weakened but had yet to defeat Al Qaeda. Afghanistan still needed attention.

The mission accomplished sign was for the Air Craft Carrier group. It wasn’t put up by the White House. The speech indicated that the overall mission continued.

You would think that you would spend at least 1/10 of the time giving credit to General Petraeus and the troops for giving a stable Iraq to the its people as you do going back 6 years to blast President Bush by distortion.

That’s it David. Keep loving on Bush. I know you are hurting right now.

McCain will pull it out in the end if we all just clap hard enough for the Iraq war and keep telling ourselves that the mission accomplished banner wasn’t put up by the White House.

  4. FYI: bush’s approval numbers are LOWER now that he is out of office.

    Awesome

yes, that was like the 4th or 5th excuse that Rove gave several weeks later. Right David, keep the dream alive.

    David asks,”What part was incorrect?”

How about: “major combat operations in Iraq have ended” just for starters.
