Because we, at DL, aim to please…
BTW, any one following Neal Horsley (Republican running for Governor of Georgia) who admitted to having sex with a mule and is now claiming he’d kill his son to get his state to secede from the union?
Hmm… who was it who first mentioned something about goats?

Getting their mojo back, indeed….
Is today is the start of the great Democratic bull market?
The S&P 500 is now higher than it was when Obama took office!
Does his son have really long ears?
39 years ago at Kent State…
“Four young men and women had their lives taken from them while lawfully protesting this outrageous government action. We are going back to keep awareness alive in the minds of all students, not only in America, but worldwide…to be vigilant and ready to stand and be counted… and to make sure that the powers of the politicians do not take precedent over the right of lawful protest.” – Graham Nash
Have we?
anonone,
Go to Happy Star Wars Day.I’m being assaulted for bringing this up. Many comments consider this an insignificant moment in our history.I’m astounded by this reaction on a LIBERAL web-site.
How much of the vote did this wild eye guy get as part of the Creator’s Rights Party? I doubt that he will be a factor in the GOP any more than he was as a third party. Thankfully this is still a free country where everyone gets their say and we are free to laugh at the nuts and ignore them.
Not to compare Lyndon LaRouche to a guy that won’t even keep sex with mules to himself, but didn’t his folks actually win Democrat primaries? Wasn’t he on your ballots in the primary? The point is that a person doesn’t represent the party by merely talking about being on its ballot.
What the people are going to focus on are the real issues and the actions of the governing party. You people are going to attempt to take over one of the most successful sectors of the economy, healthcare. I wonder what it will do for votes when doctors, nurses, and others find out that you think they make too much. It is the Democrat mindset to attack success. The healthcare sector is growing because it is innovative and provides new services so they want change that.
Skippertee, this thread’s for you! (and A1!)
Ask and you shall receive…
http://www.delawarepolitics.net/2009/05/04/farewell-to-jack-kemp/ Jack Kemp will be missed.
A little slow off the mark.

Be sure to read his letter about Obama to his grandchildren. (Link in the comment section.)
Skipertee,
At least you and I will never forget. Some of those killed weren’t even protesting; they were walking between classes.

Never again.
pandora,
thanks for the tip but you should be pointing out these sites to Jason330 and liberal geek. These young whippersnappers need to remember that these students died simply for standing up and asking WHY? They take for granted what these heroes DIED for.I’m shocked by their odios, casual dismissal of Kent State. This was the turning point. It woke up the country. It was the beginning of the end of the VietNam war.
That’s too harsh, skippertee. Jason and LiberalGeek do not take Kent State lightly – they take Star Wars lightly. 🙂
Delusional David is back again. If the health care system doesn’t even exist for almost half of us, you don’t get to claim it is the best in the world. Most Americans (admittedly not your 21%) think that the system is broken and needs to be fixed. They would be right.
On another topic — this could be cool.
And HB 117 goes to the House tomorrow–the slippery slope begins it’s greasing, and what will DL do?
Too funny. Pat Toomey on why he can win in Pennsylvania:
I had a friend who was a senior at Kent State and wasn’t too far from the location where the four people died. It affected him greatly. We need to make sure our civil rights are never trampled again like they were that day.
I was 17 years old when the Kent State incident happened; it left a permanent mark on me. I agree with Skippertee: “This was the turning point. It woke up the country. It was the beginning of the end of the VietNam war.”
