Breakin’ Up Is Hard To Do

Filed in National by on May 8, 2009

Another sad day for the GOP. “Joe” the “Plumber” says he is leaving the GOP.

Samuel Wurzelbacher, better known as Joe the Plumber, tells TIME he’s so outraged by GOP overspending, he’s quitting the party

He’s just noticing this now?

Anyhoo, I know the GOP will miss this man of great intellectual heft:

But he also said he wouldn’t support any cuts in defense, Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid — which, along with debt payments, would put more than two-thirds of the budget off limits.

How will the GOP survive now without their multi-talented country singer, author, war correspondent, motivational speaker everyman spokesmodel?

Maybe he realized that the 21%ers really don’t give a shit about the common man.

  2. I think his wingnut welfare check dried up. Perhaps the people that took over the money of the RNC zeroed out Joe’s budget.
