UPDATED: SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS TOMORROW!
Whether you have children or not, you must VOTE. School Boards effect a lot more than what happens inside a classroom. Decisions they make can also effect your property values and the quality of life in your community.
For the past several days we have posted the responses we’ve received from school board candidates who have taken the time to answer our questions. I have supplied a link to each response below.

Let’s say you live in Appo and you have been checked out on this….who should you vote for.
Let me also put a good word in for Ed Cerwinski in Appoquinimink. I have seen him in action several times in the past year on Workforce Housing and he has proven to me that he has a grasp on the biggest issue facing Appoquinimink today, probably more so than any other board member. It is my understanding that he has worked feverishly behind and in front of the scenes to fix the issues as they relate to Appoquinimink’s school building plans to support the anticipated demand escalation.
This post should be updated with the additional links that have come in and reposted…
It’s truly a public service…
I’m w/Eric & Kim. That’s for the thread…..
Did you send queries to anyone in any other districts? Did CR, Capital, Delmar, Woodbridge, Seaford and Laurel all blow you off? Or did you blow them off?
Let’s look on the bright side and say we took a big step forward in School Board election coverage this year.
(Thanks Pandora and the rest!)
Nice way to dodge a question.
I only asked because you pointed out that you didn’t ask questions of the Christiana candidates. It would be a more accurate representation to point out that you didn’t ask questions of the Christiana, CR, Capital, Woodbridge, Seaford … etc. … candidates.
I thank those who organized this as well – I mean no denigration to their work. But to a newbie, one would think that the state ended at the NCCo line, except for Mr. Persow.
I think you can glean the answer from my dodgery doo.
Yes. We are NCCo centric. But who in this state isn’t?
Yes. We are NCCo centric. But who in this state isn’t?”
There are 343,000 of us, actually.
Dude, are you counting chickens too? 😉
My apologies, feces. I didn’t include all districts. I focused on Red Clay because I live in the district. DV focused on Brandywine, and DD picked up the ball with the Christina candidates.
If you have any info on other races – I know, I know, I should have asked sooner – please share it.
Thanks.
Paul Parets???? He lives in Delaware City (or at least he did). Is he still teaching in Red Clay?
At least the links to the two Brandywine candidates aren’t working as of 7:00 a.m. Tuesday morning (Page not found).
I won’t count chickens if you won’t count empty McMansions.

Links fixed!

Now Hef–don’t go around spreading lies you’re fixed–it’s not fair to those young ones, who may not know better.
Sir, you are ever so kind and generous. I shall sing your praises for the rest of the day – sometimes with a heavy metal accompaniment and other times with light jazz or a simple bass rhythm.
I prefer Jazz hands over jazz thank you very much
