Mike tells a Representative that he loves low voter turnout and thus opposes HB 117.
But he does stand strong for equality, and he blasts off a letter to all 21 Senators over the Exec committee’s vote against HB 5.
He liveblogs the Revolution: Karen Peterson moving to bring HB1 (Open Government) to the floor.
Peach Pie is now the official desert of Delaware? What happened to Rita’s Italian Water Ice? Or a Charcoal Pit Triple Thick Chocolate Shake?
Matthews is a good legislative blogger, but I really do not think Rep. Longhurst is delaying a vote on HB117 (November School Board elections) just because he was in the house.
SB 106 (Energy Efficiency) is introduced.
Kavips
He celebrates the passage of the Sports Gambling bill as a win for all Delawareans and tears Sen. DeLuca a new one on his vote in the Exec committee against HB5.

David Anderson wants to have Thurman Adams’ children.
RSmitty opposes HB117.
Burris heralds the bipartisan introduction of SB96, a bill that would make it illegal for any member of the General Assembly to be employed by the State of Delaware. And for the first time in all history, Dave Burris and I agree: this bill is a great idea, yet it will never pass. The self interest of legislators on both sides of the aisle will necessitate its failure.

THE SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS.
Finally, Kavips gives some very kind words of praise for Delaware Liberal and our attempts to profile the various school board candidates prior to the election last Tuesday. He calls it the best public service ever attempted.
But we were not alone. Mike Matthews profiled and endorsed Kim Williams and Eric Randolph for the Red Clay School Board. He also shines the light on former School Board President Bill Manning’s attempted involvement in the election, and the sleazy tactics of Kin and Eric’s opponents. After all is said and done, he has the winners and losers of the Red Clay election.
