Next Sussex County Community Organized
Regiment meeting is this coming Thursday!

In the Pavillion @ Post 28

Blah blah blah…

This will be our first outside meeting!
The Pavillion is fully equipped with water
and electric.

Blah blah blah…

Our main speaker will be Nicole Theis, President
of the Delaware Family Policy Council.

http://delawarefamilies.org/

Nicole has been heard on 92.7 FM WGMD’s Dan
Gaffney Show many times.  Now is your chance
to meet her.  Nicole will speak about the
social and moral aspects of conservatism and
how the gay agenda and the separation of church
and state fanatics are tearing down the basic
fundamental values this nation was built on.

Their latest efforts: HB 5 and prayer
before County Council meetings.

FYI – I’m going to go with my “Mike Castle for Senate” stickers plastered all over my gay shirt.

  2. I saw in the paper that Republicans are going to do a program similar to drinking liberally called “Politics on Tap.” I wonder what those meeting will be like.

  3. gay is bad, war is good says:

Let em keep talking. They’re killing any chance the GOP has of ever being a viable party again.

  4. The Pavillion is fully equipped with water
    and electric.

Who is the lucky gay guy that get’s electrocuted after the waterboarding?

  5. jason330 says:

    UI,

I envision a bunch of Glenn Beck fans endlessly agreeing with Beck that if the Republican Party has any chance of regaining its leading position, it “must put to death George W. Bush’s ‘compassionate conservatism,’ and develop the brand around brutality” and random acts of cruelty

  6. Jason,

    Will there be crying involved?

  7. LaNuit says:

Flagged as inaccurate. Sussex County has no water and electric.

  8. MJ says:

Damn it! I’m going to be in Miami, otherwise, I’d go to the meeting just to see who shows up. Yeah, this group is very, very, scary.

  9. Scary? Because they are different than you?

  10. donswinefluviti says:

Yes David…they are very different from MJ you idiot

  11. cassandra_m says:

Delusional David thinks that the bigotry of the anti-gay crowd is perfectly OK.

I want to know how they can have a drinking meeting when much of their base (the evangelical types) don’t drink. Otherwise they just need to get themselves a keg of Bud and they are good to go.

  12. They’re trying to reach out to younger people. If they go all anti-gay on the younger crowd they’ll generally drive them away.

  13. meatball says:

“I want to know how they can have a drinking meeting when much of their base (the evangelical types) don’t drink. Otherwise they just need to get themselves a keg of Bud and they are good to go.”

AL Post 28 is like the 2nd or 3rd largest post in the world. It is made up of not so much evangelicals, rather old school, blue collar retirees from the massive trailer park community of Pot-Nets. Plenty of drinking going on there.

Atkins’ district, he moved street funds to pave their lot.

  14. M.Opaliski says:

Atkins’ district, he moved street funds to pave their lot.

The much disputed lot in question was never actually paved, go figure. It’s like having 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife …

  15. Hey, I don’t think gays are scary or evil. It is people like MJ who use such incendiary language against their opponents yet you want to call wonderful people like Nicole, bigots. I think the intolerance is 90% on the other side.

  16. MJ says:

I guess in David’s world, calling OBGYN’s who choose to perform legal abortions murderers and baby killers is not incendiary. I guess in David’s world, comparing gays and lesbians to child molesters is not incendiary. I guess in David’s world, claiming that same-sex marriage somehow diminishes the “sanctity” of marriage (without any proof) is not incendiary.

David, you are a SCHMUCK of the first order. That is not incendiary – it’s a fact!

  17. feces says:

“David, you are a SCHMUCK of the first order. That is not incendiary – it’s a fact!”

… and now we all know the reason this guy lost his school board race.

I guess name-calling in the defense of liberty is no vice.

  18. Dorian Gray says:

Look, everyone is free to their own opinion, but let’s not pretend they’re not bigots, OK. People made the same arguments throughout our history. If woman can own land it diminishes the fact that I, white man, can own land. If blacks can vote it diminishes me as a “real” white citizen. To some slavery was a “basic fundamental values this nation was built on”. And, hey it was all in the bible, right?

They are not scary because they have different opinions. They’re scary because they are ignorant bigots who want their particular imaginary god to be the boss of everyone else. And they are on the wrong side of history.

  19. “They’re scary because they are ignorant bigots who want their particular imaginary god to be the boss of everyone else”.

    Nothing less than tolerant there.

  20. Dorian Gray says:

Since when do I need to tolerate religious zealots who judge based on mythical books and false interpretations of history. They are fucking bigots dude, your inane conjecture not withstanding.

  21. Dorian Gray says:

In any other circumstance you would likely accuse one of moral relativism if they tolerated every opinion. But here, we need to give anybody’s stupid bullshit position the time of day. Fuck that.

Go Barca! Screw Man U. Off to get pissed and watch the final.

Why is Dan Gaffney using the pseudonym of “feces?” Or was that Jud “for the defense” Bennett?
