Cool Web Tool To Help Pass HB5

Filed in National by on May 29, 2009

Paul S Baumbach and friends developed this cool web tool a to help DE citizens find their senator’s name and number, so that they can call them directly and ask for their support on getting House Bill 5 (GLBT protections) onto the Senate floor.

Click Here ->http://dehb5.heroku.com, enter your address or nine-digit zip, and you’ll get your senator’s name and phone number, and a sample script to use when you call them. Use it today!

Then send the link around.

If you use your zip code you have to add “-0000” unless you know your “zip plus four” number. (If you know that I’m thinking you know your state senator’s phone number.)

Anyway…Paul says…

We have four days before June 2nd, HB5’s Petition Day (after HB5 will have been stuck in the Senate Executive Committee for 16 legislative days), when we hope to have the 11 senators’ signatures required to petition the bill out of Adams’ committee, or to approve a suspension of senate rules to pull it from committee onto the senate floor agenda.
