Pandora shrugged.
(Funny, but true!)
Cholera is overrated. I want to go on vacation and get a raging case of Dengue Fever.
Obligatory Argument: Libertarians believe that the government’s functions should be limited, not nonexistent. Those limitations provide for public safety, a convenient falsehood in the video of which the premise falls apart.
I hear Switzerland is the most Libertarian government in existence.
Hong Kong is more to the liking of libertarians.
In fact, Somalia is the exact opposite of the libertarian ideal: Controlled by Islamo-Fascist Warlords, who want to clothe women in ugly black burqas, outlaw all business transactions that they don’t get a 90% piece out of, and murder all non-Muslims.
Come to think of it, Somalia is more of the Islamo-Fascist ideal of Barack Hussein Obama and his Democrat allies.
That’s a pretty amazing Fail on Dondero’s part.
Fascism is basically socialism that preferences corporations.
Since Somalia basically has no government, it isn’t capable of socialism and it doesn’t have much capitalist energy going on for it, either.
But blindly repeating uninformed wingnut talking points here is definitely adding to your libertarian cred. Congrats!
“Somalia is more of the Islamo-Fascist ideal of Barack Hussein Obama and his Democrat allies.”
Gold, Jerry. Comedy gold.
Dondero’s blog is “Libertarian Republican.” I don’t think he realizes that automatically makes him a walking joke around here.
And after reading his comment I don’t think either the Libertarians or the Republicans will claim him as their own.
I’m hoping Eric will post here about Obama’s birth certificate.
I think the Obama birth cert thing is done. The more likely of the two candidates to not be a natural born citizen was McCain. I think someone figured that out and got the talking point stripped from the list.
