You know, a few weeks ago we here at Del Lib were like dogs sniffing a shitty diaper. We found or someone led us to find the bogus bullshit that is part of the standard RFP process that the sleazy, slimey, brainless POS that is our own Insurance Commish tries to pass of a BAU and thinks that no one will find out about. Accountability sucks. Trying to defend yourself and your actions against something so bogus makes you look even worse. Which is exactly what her office bitches did.
The Ins Com job is dare I say one of the most underrated offices in our state. It is for sure one of the least understood positions. I have no idea what she does. I have no idea how what she does affects me. I do know that the Ins Com in Delaware is a pretty fucking important office. Especially when it comes to corporations. I would think that having someone in that position with an IQ that is higher than the combined weight of her (insert whatever comes to your imagination) is an important qualification that our voters should take into consideration. I would also think that the people in her office would expect to be questioned occosiaonally and be able to act more professional no matter who questions what they are doing. But, I guess some little dickwad lawyer didn’t like having to answer to some little pissant blogger. Wahhhhh.
What has been bugging me about the whole deal though was a few of the comments the weaselly little fucks that are KWS’s neighbors and butt boys made because they think that they are above being questioned by common folk and that we as bloggers are comparable to “the nra” and other similar groups that are strong advocates for their beliefs. That we “carry water” for other people. I don’t mind be looked down on. I have had that for the better part of my life.
What irked me about being cmpared to the NRA and other groups like those was that it was buy a guy that works for US, me, a citizen, a tax payer, a voter and technically a constituent. Bloggers aren’t some group of nutjubs (well, ok, fair enough if you visit FSP, collusoffucknut or anyone of David Andersons blogs he links to). Bloggers care and they are a group of people that unlike the rest of population actually give a shit. Beliefs aside I don’t care what side you are on, I am just glad that WE (except David A and Frank K) are out there holding people accountable.
People in the office of KWS should expect more accountability. We maybe the annoying flashlight that shines into your house at 9pm at night, but the more light we shine the better for us all.
The only water we are carrying is that of citizens that want shit done right and above board. If you don’t like, go fuck yourself or quit. Or both.
