Filed in National by on June 18, 2009

America can breath again.

The reality stars will be joining the ranks of the not married anymore. Who could have predicted that life under a microscope would put a strain on their marriage?

  1. Hey, if it wasn’t for divorce of large families, we would have had the Brady Bunch.

  2. This is just further confirmation for me that I don’t want to be famous.

  3. “America AND breath again”

I never watched and didn’t even know who these people are until U.I. explained to me. Sad.

Nevertheless, it is a very funny headline Jason. Thanks for my morning giggle.

And, today is the first day of the sweet cherry harvest at Milburn Orchards. see http://www.milburnorchards.com/ Ya’ll might want to include some local-grown cherries in your weekend plans. No U-Pick for cherries but they have a really neat farm store and lunch & ice cream for the kids.

Is this good or bad for republicans?

Are reality shows a threat to the institution of marriage?

    Was this the opposite kind?

    So many questions…

  7. PBaumbach says:

Clearly the TLC network that airs Jon & Kate and 8 is a threat to the sanctity of marriage. Perhaps Venables and Adams can take this opportunity to add a fourth proposed amendment to SB121 to note that ‘the General Assembly does not support the TLC network in its efforts to weaken the institution of marriage in the state of Delaware.’

  8. Bill Dunn says:

I don’t know how much TLC affected Jon & Kate’s relationship, but I have watched at least a couple of shows from each season and I’ll tell you, I would be greatly challenged to not give up my non-violent nature and ring her neck if I were married to her.
In my opinion, she is the most over-baring, overly-demanding, controlling spouse I’ve ever seen.
I wish them the best and I hope they work things out, but if they do divorce, I hope Jon gets his balls back in the settlement.

  9. Delaware Dem says:

I agree Bill. I have never see a more cold nagging narcissistic woman as Kate was portrayed as in that series. No real love for her husband, and she never missed an opportunity to put him down in some way.
