  1. I see you’re giving the news its proper respect.

  2. I’m only saying what countless others feel.

The only question I now have is who is John Atkins going to work with now that he won’t have Mike Matthew’s to pimp out?

  3. Even though “You can’t spell hubris without Hube”, this is too ‘hubristic’ for even ‘bulo’s taste.

Everyone might be better served by either lamenting or celebrating silently. No doubt the oenophiles among us could find a more appropriate way to mark the occasion…

  4. RSmitty says:

DV, you know I’ve always taken your stuff into perspective, but c’mon.

  5. anonone says:

I say let donviti be donviti. Not that I agree with these sentiments entirely, but a bit of hubris is good now and again.

However, keep in mind that hubris leads to nemesis.

  6. Like Michael Jordan, no one can stop DV, you can only hope (in vain) to contain him. A true force of nature!

  7. FSP says:

It’s easier to take DV’s hubris when I remember DV cried like an infant when someone used his name in a blog post.

  8. Von Cracker says:

I COMPLETELY DISAGREE with that, FSP!!!!

DV was crying more like a toddler, not an infant! Geesh……..

  9. Delaware Dem says:

    RSmitty…

You simply must start “Delaware Former Republican and Kinda Conservative.”

Steve Newton makes a good point about solo blogs today, that the author goes through periods where the muse does not strike or where he or she is too busy to write. DL is successful with multiple writers, the muse is always striking one of us 10 contributors. So gather Anderson, Hube, Elbert, and the other far right crazies out there and start a group blog.
