2 loud mouths, that can’t back their lies up
So, we are entering day 2 of David Anderson’s lie that he can’t back up or support a link to. Yesterday I had a post up asking Davide to support his lie.
This is the norm, why do you act surprised? People who cheer a point of view expressed are just as valid as those who express it. Likewise those who jeer it after it had a chance to be expressed are valid expressions. Claire McCaskill had an interesting town hall on live television. I did not have a chance to watch most of it. People had exchanges with her. It was not a bad event. She got booed after she tried to mislead people on abortion funding (by saying the bill does not address it when she knows that the panel would be appointed by pro-abortion funders) and skip a real answer to the question. They pinned her down until she promised not to support it.
It looked like something that was a worthy exercise of citizenship.
I’m sure David has the specific bill and specific language to support this half baked claim. Or maybe he got in a forwarded email. Either way I had this to say:

Hey dopey? Link please. Which Bill? support your “fact”.
thank you.
David though was nice enough to come over here yesterday though and spread more of his manure around our office.
Then, getting into the fun was the Leader of De’s Republican Party. He made a pretty good one and was called out by Sillylazypoorperson:
Here is Protacks Lie:

Thank goodness they have a means to get medical attention before Obama wrecks health care.
According to Obama the Doctors would prefer to amputate the limb rather than treat the wound. Reimbursable fees are higher for a amputation you know.

And here is the call out:

link please????
So here we go into day two with no linky-links to their lies. They don’t even have the balls to show us the email that had the talking points on it. I know there are some readers that feel we shouldn’t follow them around from post to post when they make valid points. But, it is sort of like when you are trying to teach your child a lesson. You don’t tell them they are grounded then let them go play outside b/c they didn’t poop their pants.
So, I can’t be on here all day today like the other dopes so please, try to make these 2 liars accountable. of course if they provide links and supporting evidence I will apologize. But I doubt that will happen.
The argument has been won by the our side that much is clear.
Obama clearly said on his propaganda TV show Doctors look at reimbursable rates and make health care decisions. He foolishly said Doctors would take out tonsils after repeated colds because of the reimbursable rate. Easily the dumbest and rudest comment so far in the entire debate.
Amputations do have a higher reimbursable rate than treating a “dart” wound. Do you dispite that fact?
You folks simply attack because you can’t defend Obama’s plan. When was the last time you heard anyone say a positive about the plan?
Obama is doing back room deals with the very insitutions you folks report to dislike in order to get a deal yet you are silent.
Here are facts you can’t refute.
“According According to CBO’s and JCT’s assessment,” CBO Director Douglas W. Elmendorf wrote in a cover letter to House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles B. Rangel (D.-N.Y.), “enacting H.R. 3200 would result in a net increase in the federal budget deficit of $239 billion over the 2010-2019 period [Italics added].”
The Mayo Clinic said there are some positive elements of the bill, but overall “the proposed legislation misses the opportunity to help create higher quality, more affordable health care for patients.”
http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=32849
“In fact, it will do the opposite,” clinic officials said, because the proposals aren’t [R]patient-focused or results-oriented. “The real losers will be the citizens of the United States.”

I know eyez iz dumb and lazy, but wear did u beck up the above statement?
Here’s an article on CNN that puts a lot of the jargon to rest:

Also, pay close attention to #10 where the country is spending more in order to have less then other countries when it comes to healthcare.
Although, I agree it’s not perfect, action needs to happen now, not later, not let’s discuss this for another 10 years. Look at it this way, at least we’re not saying that there is a “Weapon of Mass Destruction” disease out there that we need to stomp out and wage war on in the name of God and everything that is holy. I mean could you imagine the support Obama would get if he just said that Jesus spoke to him one night and said, “Let my people have healthcare”… Boom, we’d be done talking about this already…
My little secret is that Buddha and Jesus both came to me the other day and said “Let my people have healthcare” so I’m going with it…
“You folks simply attack because you can’t defend Obama’s plan.”
And you’re so stupid — or, rather, dishonest — that you don’t realize that there is no “Obama plan.”
Mr. Shallow Bench is rather epically clueless to the fact that no one sees him as credible on any subject whatsoever.
So I’m voting for stupid.
Let’s do a little utilitarian exercise. 3,000 people die on 11 Sept. so we spend tons of dough to fight what turn out to be stupid wars, deficits be damned. 50,000,000 million people are uninsured or underinsured, many suffer unspeakably for lack of quality care (or any care) but now it’s all dollars and cents and CBO reports… at least your priorities are clear.
The other aurguments are even more fun. Let’s see if we can properly define and explain the difference between socialism, communism and fascism. I think this was my PoliSci final exam junior year.
After which we can scream TYRANNY as loud as we can and chant “we want our country back” and make this a constitutional issue… that’s seems to make a lot of sense.
This whole health care debate has been fucking awesome for me because it once again proves how much smarter I am than most people.
half the country is smarter than the other half
This whole health care debate has been fucking awesome for me because it once again proves how much smarter I am than most people.
If they succeed in killing health care that kind of blows a hole in your thesis…
How so? I don’t follow your logic. What does defeating a particular initiative have to do with intelligence?
Obama camp plants fake doc, Che fan at Jackson Lee forum
LoneStarTimes.com ^ | 8/13/2009 | Matt Bramanti
I was reading the Chron’s piece about Sheila Jackson Lee’s town hall, when something caught my eye:
One supporter, Dr. Roxana Mayer, a physician who does not live in Jackson Lee’s district, praised the reform plan for overhauling a broken system.
“I don’t know what there is in the bill that creates such panic,” she said.
In this video, Mayer claims to be a general practitioner, eliciting applause and even a hug from Queen Sheila:
I’m not sure why, but something didn’t smell right. So my colleagues and I did a little digging, and wouldn’t you know it? Roxana Mayer is, like, totally not a doctor.
But she is an Obama campaign volunteer.
Our own David Jennings secured a phone interview, in which Mayer admitted to impersonating a physician, saying — get this — she thought it would help her credibility. (It didn’t.)
“Obama camp plants fake doc, Che fan at Jackson Lee forum”
Well, that certainly makes all the phoniness from your side OK then! What a dick.
Obama supports the House plan.

Obama Turns to Web to Defend Health Plan
President Pushing Health Care Overhaul, Challenging Misconceptions about Democratic Plans
Side issues about 9/11 or socialism etc. does not hide the obvious. Obama’s plan cost too much, shifts money from Medicare, does nothing about Tort Reform, is ineffective on overall health outcomes.
Remember, the Dems have a super majority and they could not deliver. They do not need one GOP vote to get any bill passed and signed, but they could not. Don’t blame TownHalls and the GOP, blame the Dems.
Mike Protack
There’s not a word in that linked article backing up your contention that “Obama supports the House plan.” He told people to go to Congressional offices to get their questions answered — because it’s Congress that’s going to come up with the plan.

If you read Delaware Politics health file, you would have all the information you need on that. Wait until the next post if you don’t want to read one about the amendment in the house, the guest post by Nicole Collins, or other posts. I don’t need to go back over every time you have a disingenuous question that is based upon common knowledge in the media.
“Our own David Jennings secured a phone interview, in which Mayer admitted to impersonating a physician, saying — get this — she thought it would help her credibility. (It didn’t.)”
Is this like Joe the Plumber who really wasn’t a plumber type deal impersonating the fact that he was going into business for himself? In fact, he wasn’t?
We can play this game all day, tit for tat really isn’t my thing so let’s stick to the bill itself providing every single American (regardless of what you or I may feel or think them of being deserving of such a thing) healthcare. Let’s really talk about what is wrong with that. What is wrong with taking care of the people that are in your country? So we pay more taxes? Ok, check. Our deficit goes up? No one complained when we were waging a “holy war”, check. Companies will drop their insurance in favor of the public option, GREAT! Mine sucks! I hardly even get sick and for simple maintenance like shots for my kids and blood work I’ve had to shell out dough on top of the 30 dollar copay. Not to mention I do have a million or so dollar lifetime limit… Oops, kids better not get too sick.
“All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing”…
This is still a democratic country and in this democracy, the shift of power has happened. We will get a new healthcare plan. It’s going to happen and I’m sure that republicans will find another boogeyman to put in the closet when this is done. Just wait your turn for the next 12 years. I don’t think there will be a republican president unless Arnold becomes president. And we all know that’s not going to happen.

“I duzn’t have a link. Ima liar.”
we iznt readin that trash. Provide a link to back up yo lie David. come on brutha, you can do it…
lets roll!
she tried to mislead people on abortion funding (by saying the bill does not address it when she knows that the panel would be appointed by pro-abortion funders)
link on the abortion funding David. Link to where it says pro abortion funders. Link to how you “know”
don’t play stupid liar. Provide your source to show us how you know the answers
I don’t think that you even read the quote that he made. I doubt that you would understand the link. I won’t give you one. Look up the Senate Affordable Health Choices Act and read pages 69 and 70. In them you will find exactly what I said.
graph (1)(A), the Council shall ensure that the
16 actuarial gross value of the benefits is equal to
17 the actuarial gross value of the benefits
provided under a typical employer plan, as
determined by the Secretary. (p.69)
It goes on to say the benefits would be determined by a council which shall make a determination based upon a criteria
12 ‘‘(B) take into account the health care
needs of diverse segments of the population,
including women, children, persons with disabilities, and other groups. (p.70)
If you want abortion excluded, then you need to put the language in which does that.
In other words, language that includes abortion services is not there.
What is particularly fun about this is that you can search these docs for words via the Adobe search function. I just opened it up and searched for the word abortion. And surprise! It isn’t there. And the drivel about the actuarial value has nothing to do with abortion, you know. But I gather that your radio handlers expect that you won’t know the difference.
So the bottom line here is that not only have you not read this bill for yourself — at least to know if the claims made for your so-called references are true — you don’t expect that we can at least use the search function in Adobe to just see if the words are there. And they aren’t.
I doubt that you would understand the link. I won’t give you one
dats bcuz der aint one. And if de iz’un it’s to balloon juice or some batshit crazy website deez cats will shred fast.
Liar David, airplane and simple. U iz a liar and you gots caught

So funny! Telling people who run a successful blog — one that you come to regularly — they they won’t understand a link!!
Dave makes a funny, again.
I don’t need to go back over every time you have a disingenuous question that is based upon common knowledge in the media
Yes you f’n do, if you are saying something is in the bill that isn’t there.
“common knowledge in the media” – well there’s your problem, right there.
Especially since it is wingnut media he references.
The abortion issue is outlined in an amendment to the bill introduced by Capps. You can view it here: http://energycommerce.house.gov/Press_111/20090730/hr3200_capps_1.pdf
What I find interesting is that State-run Medicaid already covers abortion services relating to rape and incest (and I believe medically necessary) – Delaware included. 17 states provide it above and beyond those instances as well. And I’d bet my last dime that Planned Parenthood (and the other clinics) know how to get around that clause! Your tax dollars paying for abortions.
Rigt now there are many private insurance plans that cover abortion. So there’s a good possibility that your premium dollars are already paying for abortions.
I understand the hesitation towards government-controlled health care/insurance. But the abortion “issue” is not really an issue at all. There are too many other legitimate concerns that could use some bi-partisan research, debate and discussion.
“Your tax dollars paying for abortions.”
Currently my tax dollars pay for two wars, neither of which I agreed with. So I want that money back. As soon as I get it back, I’ll support those who don’t like abortions getting their (far smaller) sums back.
You know, it really bugs me that some opponents of Obamacare are carrying on about crap that IS NOT IN THE BILL as it currently stands. There’s plenty disturbing things in there that we could talk about instead of talking about crap like “death panels” or “killing granny.”
I mean seriously folks. Who’s going to take you credibly when you complain about crap that’s not even mentioned in the legislation?
eyez is pretty sho, abortion is still legal in da US too
Small point but Obama is widening one of the wars and refused to pull of the Iraq War, more tax dollars wasted? I don’t think the President will refund your money.
Here is what is in the bill for all to realize. It does not save money (CBO)and it does not improve health outcomes (Mayo Clinic). I know liberals get upset when I mention those facts but it has to be said over and over. Also, when the President lies about AARP being “on board” and discussing FedEx/UPS and reminding us the Post Office has big problems he shoots himself and his effort in the foot.
Mike Protack
On abortion Planned Parenthood gets big bucks from the Feds and States.Further, Planned Parenthood is a booming business. The Journal article this morning reports that PP took in $1 billion in its last financial report. According to the piece, about a third of that revenue comes from federal and state grants for low-income women. “The nonprofit ended the year with a surplus of $115 million, or about 11% of its revenue, and net assets of $952 million.”
Why is Planned Parenthood receiving federal funds, you ask? Excellent question. Planned Parenthood received some $305.3 million in government funds in the 2005-06 fiscal year.
http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=ZWU1YmMzNWVhMTFhYTQxNjliZGIxMTcxYWU2NTMyNTQ=
For those who say that money did not go for abortions. If I pay your mortgage do you have more money for other things or do you have less money? The Feds set up their abortion business.
I will give you your War Taxes back if we will stop giving PP their tax dollars.
Mike Protack
For those who say that money did not go for abortions. If I pay your mortgage do you have more money for other things or do you have less money?
Faulty analogy Protack… In DE at least, Planned Parenthood is under contract to deliver specific services for that money. It is not a gift, like it is in your mortgage example assumes. Planned Parenthood has to pay staff, facilities, and expenses out of that money. Abortion services are funded by patient fees and private donors.
FYI, the services Planned Parenthood is delivering for Delaware are pre-conception planning, which is part of Delaware’s efforts to reduce its very serious infant mortality.
So if you want to cut Delaware’s funds to Planned Parenthood, YOU are the baby-killer.

That link goes to a fucking EDITORIAL. Why do we even bother.
thanks, Mike, I’ll take my war taxes back. They are quite a bit larger than my share of any imaginary contribution (not fee for service) you think is going to Planned Parenthood.
Hey, Mike, if you promise to send me that war tax money before midnight tonight, I’ll throw over to you all the tax money of mine that funded ACORN (not fee for service, please!!) That’ll give you another $.00!!!!!
Blowing up stupidity in the public square is Protack’s MO. Who gives a fuck what that turd has to say……well practicing punchlines is a decent reason.
There is a federal amendment that prohibits fed funds towards abortions anyway. So end of story.
