Crazy Eileen Gets a Second Chance to Shine.
Congressman Mike Castle will hold a Town Hall meeting at the Christiana Hospital Education Center at 6 pm tomorrow.
Aside from the Birthers and Deathers screaming and shouting, perhaps we will get an answer at long last to his future ambitions or lack thereof. I have to think someone will ask that question, since we are rapidly approaching his latest deadline for making the decision to run for Senate or retire.
Is holding this town hall a sign to his intentions? No, because, as the nation knows, he held one before on June 30.
OK, who’s going?
I will, most definitely.
I hope someone is planning on bringing a video camera.
I wonder if this is purposely scheduled nearly opposite the Eagles preseason game with Vicks first appearance…
Here’s a link to the announcement on Castle’s website.
At least give Mr. Cstle credit for venturing out IN PERSON, and not hide behind a mike like Tom Carper. This in spite of the fact that he has been “birthed ”
once already. Great going Mike !!!!!!!
With Frieda on this. Nice to see Rep. Castle unafraid to take on the crazies.
Are you including DD in with the crazies?
LOL, UI. I will give credit to Castle over Carper in this.
Only if he’s packin’!
With you Frieda. I hung on to that “teleconference call last night for at least a half hour. As soon as the staff person asked me my question I knew the cows would fly before my question would asked/answered.
It was obvious Carper was screening the calls to make sure there were no questions about his “questionable campaign contributions”, or questions about these non existent co-ops he spoke of.
Gotta give Castle credit for showing up twice, especially after Crazy Eileen and it all went national.
I look forward to seeing you all there and yes Mr Castle is doing much better than Carper or Kaufman but remember they work for us so this event is part of his job.
There are serious issues at stake and a Tele Town Hall is silent contempt to all of us.
For the folks at Delaware Liberal, stop by and let’s talk I have an event proposal for you to consider.
Mike Protack
did anyone notice a high proportion of Kent/Sussex county questions, at least that was my impression in reading the blog (nice job!)
of course, if there is screening, it fails to provide a fair view
not that carper wanted one…
those who support healthcare need to be present, but also to be energized–fired up–ready to go
Rep Castle–how much did your premiums go up after your stroke? Oh yeah, you have a public option. Hey, where can I get me one of those?
Be there, be visible, and be heard!
Mike Protack should change his name to Unelectable Guy
