Cullis to fellate Tea Baggers.

Filed in Delaware by on December 2, 2009 14 Comments

Whoa. There is just way too much innuendo in that title for even me. Cullis will be speaking to the 9/12 teabaggers tomorrow in Milton. Now, unless the GOP is just going to give up the House seat, there is little to no chance that Fred Cullis will be the Republican nominee. So he might as well become the fringe candidate by going to a fringe meeting. Hell, this may all be orchestrated anyway, so that when Charlie Copeland gets into the race he appears downright sane by comparison.

Set in Stone

Filed in National by on December 2, 2009 20 Comments

Writes Reid: “After the briefing, Gibbs went to the president for clarification. Gibbs then called me to his office to relate what the president said. The president told him it IS locked in — there is no flexibility. Troops WILL start coming home in July 2011. Period. It’s etched in stone. Gibbs said he even had the chisel.”

GOP Temper Tantrum – Al Franken Is So Mean!

Filed in National by on December 2, 2009 12 Comments

If you find yourself with some extra money on your hands (I know times are tight for a lot of people), Al Franken might be someone to send a few bucks to. The fallout from the pro-rape vote of 30 Republican senators is making them mighty cranky. Of course, none of them can come up […]

My Thoughts on Afghanistan.

Filed in National by on December 2, 2009 41 Comments

I am a liberal. But I am not a pacifist. To quote President Obama, I do not oppose all war, just stupid wars of choice that are not in America’s interest, like Iraq. I approved of going into Afghanistan. We were attacked, for all intents and purposes, by Afghanistan. I was angered when the attention […]

Carper’s Latest Compromise Plan

Filed in Delaware, National by on December 2, 2009 2 Comments

Harry Reid has a really difficult task, Democrats have decided to lay down all their weapons and craft bills that need 60 votes to even get a vote. Tom Carper is apparently the go-to guy for compromise in the Senate health care debate. Some details of Carper’s latest trial balloon are now emerging – it […]

There goes that LIBERAL media again.

Filed in National by on December 2, 2009 17 Comments

Chris Matthews, the supposedly liberal blowhard host of Harball on the Fox News of the Left, MSNBC, thinks that a military school like West Point is “enemy” territory to a Democratic President. That is a lie straight from the right wing, created I suppose because Democratic Presidents are not as wild about war and death as their Republican counterparts. Or I suppose it is a left over idea that all Democrats are unpatriotic traitors and thus any military institution would be enemy territory.

Why Did The News Journal Turn Down This Ad?

Why Did The News Journal Turn Down This Ad?

The SEIU has been working at organizing the janitors at Wilmington Trust HQ. The janitors are hired and managed by Optima Cleaning Systems — but the SEIU filed unfair labor relations charges against this Optima this past spring with the NLRB. The NLRB and Optima settled at least part of the charges made, which resulted in some monetary restitution by Optima to 7 individuals and required Optima to post where employees could see it a formal notice listing the ways that Optima was not to interfere with organizing activities.

Announcing the DelawareLiberal War on Christmas Party

As you all know, this is the time of the year that we liberals like to get our war on.  The war on Christmas has been a tradition since Bill O’Reilly made it up out of thin air.  This year we are hoping to get the better of Christmas and we are going to celebrate […]

‘Bulo Remembers 2009-‘Surfin’ the Microverse’ Edition

Filed in National by on December 2, 2009 5 Comments

Too bad we didn’t have the microverse back in 1969…we needed psychedelics to visualize it. Too bad we (aka ‘I’) don’t have psychedelics in 2009…this phantasmagorical (microscopic) slide show would really blow my mind. As it is, the winners of Nikon’s 2009 ‘Small World’ Microphotography Contest are absolutely breathtaking. And proof that ‘Life is Art’. […]
