Sean Hannity Praises Terrorism
Sean Hannity let a little accidental truth slip in. HANNITY: See, can I add one thing? I think we won the debate. DREIER: We did win the debate. HANNITY: When you think about the vast majorities that they have in Congress and they had to bribe, backroom deals, corruption, that’s all because the tea party […]
Bryon Short Calls for Investigation of Insurance Commissioner’s Office
I have received a number of tips through various mediums in the past hour that Rep. Bryon Short is calling for hearing into the allegations that have been leveled at Delaware’s Insurance Commissioner, Karen Weldin Stewart by the partisan thinktank, The Caesar Rodney Institute. Lee Williams, who was unable to really get to the bottom […]
I Hate Using The Word Hate, But I Hate This Man
Catholic League President William Donohue: As I said in the ad, which I wrote, most gay priests are not molesters, but most of the molesters have been gay. And I also said, that there’s no such thing as a — that homosexuality does not cause predatory behavior. Let me give you a quick example. I’m […]
iHave
Yes, we have ordered the iPad. Actually, my almost 16 year old son has ordered – using his money from his summer job. I can’t wait to get my hands on this! Luckily, I taught my children how to share. Based on the reviews, I’m considering buying another one for my parents. USA Today’s Edward […]
April Fool’s Day Open Thread
It’s the first day of April and that means it’s time for April Fool’s Day. April Fool’s is becoming a bit of an internet holiday, so be careful what you read over the internets. I’ve already read that Google is changing its name to Topeka and that the journals Science and Nature are combining to […]
Legislative Post-Game Wrap-Up/Pre-Game Show-April 1, 2010
Like the month of March, legislators are going out like lambs (to the slaughter?). Three weeks of vamping and wasting $$’s end today as the Holier-Than-Thous adjourn for a 2-week ‘Easter’ break. Nothing of note accomplished. The signature bill, HB 194, in limbo b/c Monsignor Lavelle switched from ‘yes’ to ‘no’ so that he could […]
Fox’s Newest Media Star
Sarah Palin’s new Fox show is having a spectacular flame-out before she’s even begun her first show. Her show was supposed to feature inspirational stories of Americans and is called “Real American Stories.” Rapper LL Cool J hit back at reports Tuesday that seemed to imply a one-on-one sitdown with conservative media darling Sarah Palin, […]
A Historical Perspective On Health Care Reform
The DCCC released a web ad that puts a historical perspective on the health care reform legislation. The video traces health care reform from Teddy Roosevelt to Barack Obama. It’s great!
Insurance Commissioner Enlists Local Help
Last night I received an inscrutable email from my fellow blogger and former Sussex County Republican Chair, Dave Burris. This is not unusual, I rarely understand what he is talking about. But I just received a press release that makes even less sense.
Karen Weldin Stewart, The Delaware Insurance Commissioner, has enlisted the help of David Burris of Milford to assist the Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC) in local outreach and public relations.
