Teapartiers Less Popular Than the IRS

Filed in National by on April 12, 2010

This can’t be possible! That’s what you are thinking, right? Well, you would be wrong. Because a FOX Noise poll tells me so:

Interesting, yes? Even while we have wingnuts and teabaggers in our own midst who would find something AOK with the killing of an IRS employee and the destruction of government property. This week teabaggers everywhere will be strutting their astroturfed and government subsidized stuff protesting taxes. They will claim that Americans are angry and fed up and just plain over a government that over taxes them. So when you hear that round of BS, remember this poll. This Fox Noise poll that indicated pretty clearly that Americans aren’t nearly as impressed with the Teabaggers as they are with the IRS.

The hero of the movement, palin, repulses 70% of Americans and yet the media continues to treat her as legitimate.

  2. You treat harry and nancy as legitimate. Besides her numbers are no where what you suggest. Repulses would at least mean strongly unfavorable. The only people who feel that way are the looney left. Her numbers are actually around 40% favorable and 55% unfavorable. Here is the worst polling numbers that I could find and this is not even a poll of registered voters.

Harry and Nancy were elected to their offices fair and square. Multiple times.

Harry and Nancy haven’t quit their jobs to fleece money from their acolytes.

And Jason cites the CBS poll where 71% of Americans don’t think Palin should run for President.

Which we would not be surprised that you would ignore.

Butt cassie, what percentage of Americans don’t think Pelosi and Reid should run for President?

After all, I have a generally positive view of Palin, but don’t think she should run Indeed, I can think of a number of folks in the GOP who I generally approve of (Newt Gingrich, Haley Barbour, Michael Steele) but think should not run for President.

In other words, you are comparing apples and oranges.

  5. Von Cracker says:

Ha! Barbour? Now that says tons.

The one thing about this poll is if you haven’t heard of the person, or have no opinion, it will look like the Unfavorable rating is high.

  6. A. Nony Moose says:

My positives on Barbour stem from his time at RNC — hence my generally warm feeling towards him, even if I’m displeased by some things he has said and done.

If you care about this, you should provide those numbers, otherwise you can STFU.

And one other thing — neither Pelosi or Reid are playing the will I run or won’t I footsie with anyone. Palin is. So you can put your apples and oranges where the sun don’t shine.
