We mentioned last week that Eric “St. Bodie Girl” Bodenweiser filed to run against Sen. Joe Booth in the Confederate Party primary for the 19th Senate district seat. Bodie has told anyone who will listen to him (and that seems to be the Klan and the Delaware 9/12 “patriots”), that he plans to spend $100,000 of his own money to beat Booth. We also mentioned that his hand-puppet, Chris Weeks, is running as the Confederate Party candidate against House Majority Leader Pete Schwartzkopf in the 14th RD.
Well, it seems that Budweiser is fashioning himself to be the new party boss in Sussex County. Not only is he running for office and hand-picked Pete’s opponent, he has now convinced Angel Clark to challenge Pete in the Democratic primary. You remember Angel. We wrote about her and her puff-piece of an interview with Matt Walsh, the wingnut running for Mayor of Georgetown on April 22nd.
Over at Rethuglican David’s “blog,” if you can call it that, Angel is described as “a 25 year old political science major. She and her husband live in Rehoboth Beach and are both Delaware natives. She has been active in recent conservative political movements and stands for the Constitution as the highest form of authority in the United States of America.” She believes that HCR violates the 10th Amendment and is supporting HB 353 which would exempt Delawareans from having to purchase health insurance. Ah, just what we need, another uninformed wingnut running for office as a regressive. Clark has not officially declared for the race; she’s seriously thinking about it according to my sources.
Since Budweiser already has a puppet on each hand, where will he put the next one he finds?
