Jim Westhoff Moneybomb

Hope this isn’t too late (I’m sorry — but have just been catching up to email), but Jim Westhoff (running for 35th District Rep) kicked off his moneybomb effort last Thursday night and we’ll let him take it from there:

About 10 volunteers and family took over the back room of Cafe Tamburelli, and started working the phones. I think that Robbie had the best ratio. Everyone he called agreed to donate money. Of course, he only called six people, and there were mostly family, but he’s pretty proud of himself.
In case you missed it, the “Money Bomb” is where try to convince 200 people to each donate $20 dollars in two days.
We spoke to probably hundreds of voice mails last night, but just about everyone we reached in the flesh agreed to donate. We even got a donation from someone sitting the in restaurant. So this idea seems to have worked.
If you get a chance today, please consider going to the website and donating $20. The quick influx of money will help as we start our summer activities like door-to-door canvassing and attending events.
A special thank you to the volunteers last night: My campaign manager Justin Bailey, Kate House-Layton, Jocelyn Quick, Greg and Esther Fuller, Ed O’Conner and of course my wife Cindy, and my son Robbie.

You can still contribute to this great candidate at his website, here:www.jimwesthoff.org. $20.00 for a great candidate is a great investment, so hope you’ll contribute.

(If you haven’t heard these, you should give a listen to Mr. Westhoff on WGMD — Part 1 and Part 2 — he does a great job here and hope to hear more of this.)

Not sure how well he did with this, but kick in $20 for a great candidate if you can today.
