Progressive Democrats For Delaware Candidate Forum

Filed in National by on July 6, 2010

On Wednesday night the Progressive Democrats For Delaware are having a candidate forum for the Democratic primaries in September. The forum is at 7 p.m. at New Castle County Democrats headquarters. All registered Democrats are invited!

Mark your calendar for Wednesday night, July 7th at 7:00 PM at DelDems Headquarters (19 East Commons Blvd., New Castle).

We’ll be hearing from the 2010 Primary Candidates that night. So far I’ve had confirmations from Richard Korn and Ken Matlusky for Auditor; Velda Jones-Potter and Chip Flowers for Treasurer; Kay Gallogly and Ed Osienski for 24th District Rep. I’m still waiting to hear from Sheriff Walsh, but his opponent, Trinidad Navarro, has said he’ll be there and I feel certain Mike will show up too.

Lots of candidates and we’ll have a Q&A after the formal speeches. This is yourchance to come and look over the field. This meeting is open to any registered Democrat so be sure to bring your friends along.

There is no substitute for meeting these people face to face and in Delaware, there is no excuse for not meeting them and asking them some questions.

Kudos to the PDD for putting this together,.

Since there’s no Tuesday open thread up yet (wazzup wid dat?) …

I like how Beau “Open Gov’t” Biden filed for re-election with only a post office box for contact information. No physical address or phone number provided. He has a website, but it only has a web form – you can’t actually e-mail, call or visit. Nice job.

Be sure to ask about THE REVEAL. Even Krugman is talking about the fairies:

Which reminds me: I haven’t read one of nemski’s or cassandra_m’s “just clap louder” comments in a while.

That’s a weak thread hijacking attempt right there.

Please check out Beau’s new Web site — BeauBiden.com — that launched last week. It has plenty of information about Beau and the campaign.

  7. anon says:

Thanks, Joe. But why no phone number, e-mail address or physical campaign address?
