The server I was working on this afternoon went belly up which gave me an opportunity to listen to WDEL’s Rick Jensen interview US Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell. Here are the highlights:
- If you are a woman that’s been raped or a victim of incest (that’s rape too, right?), Christine O’Donnell would require you to have the baby. I’d really like someone to ask her what she thinks about birth control. Should married couples be able to use it? Should single people be able to buy it?
- It seems that perennial candidate is more interested in the constitutionality of bills than, let’s say, legislating. IMHO, I think O’Donnell would rather be a federal court judge rather than a senator. Either way, she’s not qualified.
- O’Donnell complained about “Washington Elites” though she recently was awarded a fellowship in constitutional government. That doesn’t sound too elitist does it?
- The Tea Party candidate has no plan for health care, none whatsoever. Actually, was she wants is for people to be able to shop across state lines. What she doesn’t realize is that many of of health insurance companies have brands in many states, so that if you think you are buying something different, you probably aren’t.
- Christine O’Donnell wants you on the bread lines with her as she would have voted against Bush bank bailouts. Hey, I understand, if you subsist on other people’s handouts, you probably think it is a good idea for everyone else.
- All of her campaign debt is the Delaware GOP’s fault, so say the Starbust lady.
I don’t think I could do that again.
