O’Donnell RedState Boosters Continue To Play “Closer My God To Thee” On Deck of The Titanic Fraud
In his forty years as a “public servant” Mike Castle has managed to accumulate for himself an estimated $8 million dollar personal net worth. Now he has decided to make an issue of his conservative primary challenger’s finances. Christine O’Donnell, it seems, was left with a small campaign debt following her 2008 senate campaign. Also, in connection with that challenge to Joe Biden, she was coincidentally audited by The IRS, as were several members of her family. Over the years Christine, at various times, has struggled with her home payments and college loans. I suppose the average American can’t really relate to that, right?
See? Christine is a working class hero. Who knew?
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m amazed by how quickly the air has gone out the O’Donnell campaign and the Tbagz movement. Oh well.
It is a good question of how Mike Castle accumulated that much wealth while being a public servant. It is understandable after you leave public service. Reagan and Clinton gave speeches for outrageous fees and that piles up over time. Book advances and sales?
Does anybody know the source of the estimate of “$8 million dollar personal net worth?” Can’t trust anything a tbagz says.
Maybe O’Donnell is a plant by the Castle machine to have liberals defend the Congressman.
Castle and Carl Schnee started a law firm together in Wilmington.
What about Castle’s wife? Does she have money?

Here is another example of IOKIFAR. Normally this kind of financial struggle is an opportunity to blame that person for living beyond their means and reminding people that they have to be Personally Responsible for their Bad Choices OR they indulge in schadenfreude. Or maybe both.
The average American can’t relate to the grifter scam Christine is running on her donors — the average American can’t rely on the kindness of strangers to keep them afloat.
Cassandra, I thought the way O’Donnell supporters turn the “Wealthy = Virtuous; Poor = Vice Plagued” moronic wingnut thinking on its head so effortlessly was pretty funny.
Castle married Jane DiSabitino. He was in private practice, went to the AG’s office, went back to private practice and started the law firm with Schnee, then became Lt. Governor. The law firm with Schnee was successful, but I’m sure DL knows that. There was also a stretch of time when he was in the state legislature and working at the law firm, so he had two jobs at the same time.
Having financial problems is one thing, lying to the voters about it, like Christine O’Donnell did with her college degree and her mortgage foreclosure, is another thing all together.
I guess being a liar is a Christian value now. And if her financial problems made her “more sympathetic,” where was that sympathy in 2008?
Jane DiSabitino is going to be the next Republican Senate candidate if Mike is elected and croaks in office. Just sayin’
