Let’s Help Out a Progressive Candidate
Jim Westhoff is running in the 35th against Dave Wilson. Jim is a progressive candidate in what is not a progressive district. Here’s a clip of his opening statement at a forum the other night: .
Jim could use some shekels to help with his campaign. He’s been canvassing his butt off and has signs up, but we all know that every little bit helps.
You can donate to his campaign either through his website, or by sending a check to the campaign at 104 S. 1st Street, Greenwood, DE 19950.
Could that guy sitting on the left side of the screen seem less dismissive? Didn’t even look at Jim once. He symbolizes the Delaware Way when it comes to progressives.
Westhoff does deserve our support. He’s running an honest campaign, running as himself, not some construct from Ed Freel’s Laboratory of Robo-Candidates, cranked out to protect the banking industry and creeping Carperism.
If we’re ever going to move the progressive cause forward, we need to support people like Jim Westhoff.
El S – I believe the disinterested guy is Jim’s opponent.
Jim impressed the Progressive Democrats of Delaware’s Endorsement Committee, and is endorsed by the PDD. He indeed represents change we need from Sussex County. He wants to join Pete Schwartzkopf in bringing Sussex County’s problems to the General Assembly, and finding progressive solutions.
MJ, that guy definitely is not Dave Wilson. Jim calls him “Mr. Warren” at the very beginning of the clip.
Thanks, Scoop. I couldn’t hear that clearly at the beginning of the video.
Just had a call from a friend who said the guy sitting on the left was the moderator and that he kept a neutral expression throughout the entire evening.
“Mongo like underfunded, tenacious progressive candidate who is running in Western Sussex County–the poor, dumb bastard.”.
