My alter-alter ego, Symphony Steve, produces his final concert for the Arden Concert Gild, this Saturday night, Dec. 4, at 8 p.m. at the Arden Gild Hall. To celebrate both this and my wife’s birthday milestone, we’re turning it into an audience appreciation night for those fortunate enough to attend. Real prizes and surprises, plus some great American roots music. Our performers tomorrow:
JOY KILLS SORROW: Haunting, ethereal songs, heavenly instrumentation, and gorgeous vocals. Featuring the National Flat-Picking Guitar Player, the John Lennon Songwriting Competition Winner, and the first and only mandolinist to get a full scholarship from Berklee School of Music. EILEN JEWELL BAND: Eilen was voted the National Singer/Songwriter of the Year by the Boston Phoenix. Her road-tested high octane band makes this one of the finest American roots bands you’ll see anywhere:
