Everyone knows that in GOP speak, “voice of common sense” means “willing to share the pain” with the people most acquainted with feeling pain.
“There’s a lot of folks here that I get along with really well on the Democratic side,” said Christie, a University of Delaware graduate. “Governor Markell is a good friend and works really hard in Delaware to do the right thing and is a real voice of common sense inside that room without a lot of partisanship. So I like Jack Markell a lot.”
