So, what is the Rapture anyway?
It is not the end of the world. It is more like an prologue to a book about the end of the world, and it is a long big ass book. And the whole story makes God and Jesus look like incompetent Dr. Evils.
Redistricting Hearings
Next Thursday, the House will hold a public hearing on redistricting, at 7 p.m. in the House Chamber in Legislative Hall. The Senate will hold a similar hearing on June 2 in the Senate Chamber, also at 7 p.m.
Friday Open Thread
Today we have an uncertain death penalty, a trial going home, a rich Bush, and Bin Laden’s porn collection. And we don’t have Terminator 5. Oh yes, and the Rapture is tomorrow.
DeLuca Escapes
So Senate President Pro Tem Anthony DeLuca has been cleared of the recent charges that he violated the federal Hatch Act that prohbits elected officials from exploiting government jobs for personal or political gain. Deluca says he is now completely exonerated for anything and everything he has ever done in life. He is ready for the Rapture tomorrow.
