Palin Climbing in the Polls!
Since the Sarah Palin for President boomlet started earlier this week, it would appear her polling fortunes, at least among teatard Republicans, have improved markedly, and she has not officially announced. She is going to win this nomination, folks.
A new Gallup poll conducted from May 20 until May 24 finds Romney leading with 17%, followed by Palin at 15%, Paul at 10%, Gingrich at 9%, Cain at 8%, Pawlenty at 6% and Bachmann at 5. The previous Gallup Poll in April had Donald Trump (!) and Mike Huckabee tied at 16%, with Mitt Romney close behind at 13%, and our Lady Sarah at 10%. There is no way to discern where Trump’s and Huckabee’s support went. I would assume some of Huck’s support went to Sarah, but so too could some of the Donald’s birth racist support. Business Republicans who supported the Donald probably went to Romney.
A new InsiderAdvantage poll finds Mitt Romney just ahead of the GOP presidential field with 16%, followed by Michelle Bachmann at 12%, Sarah Palin at 11%, Herman Cain at 11 %, Tim Pawlenty at 7%, Newt Gingrich at 7% and Rand Paul at 5%. It is interesting that this poll as Bachmann so high when she only registers at 5 in the Gallup. And I wonder what happens to Bachmann when Palin enters the race. Does it evaporate?
Meanwhile, the New York Times reports Sarah Palin “has reshuffled her staff, rehiring two aides who have helped plan her political events. And she is expected to resume a schedule of public appearances soon — perhaps as early as this weekend — to raise her profile at a moment when the Republican presidential field appears to be taking final form.”
Hehehehe. It’s like Christmas morning. I am giddy.
Back in 2006, the Daily Show’s Samantha Bee was talking about an early poll for the ’08 Republican nomination and she noted that it had a margin of error of +/- 5%. Best line: “Those who have less than 3% might not even exist.”
The fact that the for profit teabagz have decided that Romney’s skin will make a nice lampshade bodes well for Palin.
Intrade bettors are not impressed though: $0.72 / share.
And she is expected to resume a schedule of public appearances soon
This is usually not a good thing for Palin. Once she comes out from behind Twitter we are all reminded of what a freak show she really is.
I just read something that says perhaps she is running for the Senate out of Arizona (Kyl’s open seat is up in 2012).
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The Senate is beneath her. She is much bigger than that.
She lives in AZ now? Figures.
The bus emblazzoned with “One Nation Under God, Indivisible, With Liberty & Justice For All.” What a goofball.
Palin isnt running for President. Roger Ailes has not released her from Faux. If she were really running he would have obliged. What Palin is being tasked to do for the right winger baggers is two things a) help convince the masses that Ryans plan is good for them and america, b) try to convince the citizens that Obama really is a muslim and he is working against Israel.
We will see this twit bashing Obama on those two issues to soften up the public for whoever the real nominee will be.
Orley Taitz and Sarah Palin spent a few days in Israel garnering support of the Likud right wing party and the zionists. Its her “job” to race bait, to demonize and convince the citizens, the President really is a secret muslim otherwise “why would he be against Israel and for the Palestians”?
Andrew Sullivan Shocks Chris Matthews: Palin Can Beat Obama
Newsbuster ^ | 05/29/11 | Noel Sheppard
Andrew Sullivan this weekend seemed to shock Chris Matthews when he said that former Alaska governor Sarah Palin could actually beat President Obama in next year’s elections running as the “principled candidate” representing “this grassroots movement of cutting government down to size.” Maybe even more surprising, Time’s Joe Klein seemed to agree
Maybe even more surprising, Time’s Joe Klein seemed to agree…. Hard to sell political commentary without a credible opponent Klein is trying to create one:)
They very nearly elected her Vice-President. Y’know, the back-up President? Forget the electoral college spread, because the popular vote was pretty narrowly split. So why is it surprising they’d be willing to make her President right and proper? It’s not like she was less imbecilic then than she is today.
