There was a theme to this weeks Republican debate. Doom.
We are doomed because of Obama.
Our economy is doomed.
Medicare and Social Security are doomed.
Our grandchildren are doomed.
Gays will doom our military and our marriages.
And on and on it went.
So here’s my question… Can someone be elected President on negativity alone? Is shouting “doom” and answering with “austerity” a winning combination?
