4th Of July Open Thread

On this most American of holidays, let us not forget our American history as taught by Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann (serious presidential contenders).

The American patriots were led by patriotic child John Quincy Adams (the rest were very busy trying to end slavery). Paul Revere rode his horse through town firing warning shots and ringing bells to tell the British they couldn’t take our guns. The revolution then started in Concord, New Hampshire. I haven’t read what happens next but I heard that we won!
