Keep Calling!

ALSO — there is an effort to visit every Congressperson’s office today at noon to let them know that you want a balanced approach to debt redcution. Folks are going to Congressman Carney’s office at NOON today (sorry for short notice) — 201 North Walnut Street in Wilmington. If you go, there is a sign you can print out to send your message. From MoveOn:
The more Democrats publicly stand up for Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, the more pressure there will be on congressional Republicans to agree to a balanced deal that includes revenues, not just cuts. Make sure Rep. Carney knows you expect him to be a leader by signing on to protect these vital programs from cuts.
We’re building a real movement to defend the American Dream. More than 15,000 people have signed up for these actions in just the past two days. This is the most important step: sending a direct message to Democrats in Congress that they need to go on the record as opposing cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Let us know if you go in the comments. Also tell us your experience calling in to the Congressional delegation.
I made my calls and they are counting them up. Everyone, please call.
For once it’s sad Delaware has no Republican representative… I almost wish there was someone to totally crush underneath responses to prove to all, how much “We, The People” despise his party’s amateurish policy.
But I did hear from a Boehner constituent in his district of Ohio, that additional revenue would be needed, just make sure it wasn’t wasted… So, that was a small, but good sign… (Previously (6 months) she hadn’t budged)…

But we’ve got Carney and Carper. Go tell it to them. It will be good for them to occasionally hear someone who isn’t a senior citizen teabagger or a local Dem hack. And you will feel better.
kavips, I had a similar wistful moment. I can only imagine the tortured press release that Michael Newbold Castle would have to construct after “regretfully” voting for the “deeply flawed” Boehner plan.
Call Boehner’s office, too. Overload his office with calls telling him he’s full of shit and hates America, I mean, that we want a balanced approach to this problem. Guess he has to keep the Koch brothers happy.
