Matt Damon Schools a Libertarian
This is just fantastic. Not only does he spank this reporter, but her cameraman too. Can we get someone at the DNC to hire Matt Damon for the messaging department?

Yeah. This is awesome. Matt Damon is the shit.
Love, love, love Matt Damon. Simply brilliant!
How is it that Matt Damon, who is a bazillionaire, get this and others are all Ayn Rand about it?
I have TOO many teacher friends to deal with this “incentive” junk. They work like crazy for nothing. A handful of them won’t know if they have jobs again for the next couple weeks until their districts decide they can afford to re-hire them for next year. I already know one girl (a special ed teacher) who won’t be back in September.
Smart people just blow me away.
Love it. One reason I got out of teaching was the money. Back when I was teaching, garbage collectors in Denver made more than a third-year teacher.
“Maybe you’re a shitty cameraman.”. Thanks for the link.
I’m now a Matt Damon fan.
I am a huge Matt Damon Fan. I love almost all of his roles. As I have said before on this blog, I am one of the few truly objective people you meet. I have the ability to love Matt Damon’s acting, even if I disagree with his politics (I don’t necessarily know that I disagree with his polictics). But anyway, he expresses a good point of view. thats all. No spanking involved. he just expressed his point of view in answer to her claim. I often agree with that way of looking at things. I often think Larry Bird and Michael Jordan would have played professional basketball for lunch money, if that was how the system worked. I think Matt Damon is the same way, If hypothetically actors did not Make much money, I think Matt Damon would still be just as great an actor, and work just as hard. However, I think guys like Matt Damon and Larry Bryd, and Michael Jordan, Are the exceptions to the rule. So it is possible they can’t see the view point of others. And many people are motivated by incentives. That is the only point the reporter was trying to make. In Matt Damons case is might not apply, that is why he probably looks at it like that.
@Rusty Dils
I agree w/ virtually everything you said. We disagree on the reporter’s motivation for asking the question. She was looking to elicit a response she could attempt to discredit. She failed miserably.
indeed, he was great at SOS, a march that deserved more media coverage.

I’m glad to see someone standing up for the hard work that teachers do. It’s a tough job and despite what some ignoramuses say about their hours (they’re off at 3! summers off!) I know they work very hard and many of them sound their own money for supplies for students. Right now when I see “education reform” it’s generally teacher-bashing. Right now I don’t see much incentive for young people to become teachers – Repuboicans governors are taking away some of the benefits (like pension & tenure) and using them as whipping boys.
Holy crap, watch this.
Reason tv. Lol
Here’s a unicorn.
