Open Source Rules for GOP Presidential Debates Fantasy League

Filed in National by on September 14, 2011

I don’t watch the GOP debates because I cherish the tattered remnants of my sanity. If I did watch that panderific hatefest, I’d be tempted to come up with fantasy league rules and schedule a draft. The scoring rules would go a little something like this.

Saying Reagan’s name 10 times = 1 point
Direct comparison of self to Reagan = 2 points
Saying that remaining in Afganistan demonstrates “our strength” = 1 point
Saying “tax cuts” 20 times = 1 point
Mentioning George Bush favorably = 1 point
Saying that the budget can be balanced without raising taxes = 5 points
The “Oh no he didn’t!” moment (directly attacking another candidate on something that is “off limits” eg. Bachmann’s migrains or Gingriches serial marriages) = 10 points

This is a quick take on the concept. Someone who actually watches the debates could probably punch it up a bit.

Did anyone notice the Cowards on the stage during the debate and those in the audience how they failed to rebuke the TEABAGGER idiots who yelled LET HIM DIE.Their failure only proves that they were in agreement with the hateful remark. Down here in Sussex Bill Culley loved it.
