Some news from the weekend that you may have missed: President Obama is abandoning plans to keep U.S. troops in Iraq past a year-end withdrawal deadline, and the remaining 40,000 troops will be returned or otherwise redeployed by January. For those progressive critics who like to say Obama has 7 or 8 wars going on at the moment, you will have to adjust your criticism a little bit.
