Newt’s Got A Kid Problem
So Newt thinks that poor kids only know how to rob and steal. The asshat from Georgia thinks he’s a celebrity because some idiot is willing to pay $60K to hear him bloviate. And anyone who’s been around since he first took office back in the 80’s knows he has a huge ego. As Jonathan […]
Unopposed, Gov Markell Sends Out First Campaign Fundraising Email
Governor Markell is still unopposed right?
Dear Jason330,
Delawareans do not give up, particularly when it comes to fighting to get people working now and creating the strongest possible public schools to ensure our state’s future. We stay focused, and we keep fighting, to move forward together, sometimes against profoundly difficult odds.Because of your support in the past, I have had the honor of helping to lead that fight the last few years – to give new hope and new light at shuttered manufacturing facilities, to help small businesses through our LIFT program, and to be responsible stewards of public resources.

President Obama, like most Presidents in this “Tough on Crime” era of the last 40 years, has been a veritable teetotaler when it comes to using his Pardon Power. Presidents, from Johnson to Obama, have erred on the side of their own political interests in not appearing soft on crime instead of showing mercy or righting pasts wrongs. Until this year. Over the last 12 months, the President has pardoned 22 people. What is behind this new found love of the really only unchecked power the President has?
