Senator Robert Marshall is one of thirty million people who have announced that they are running for Mayor of Wilmington, yet only to lose to Paul Calistro.
That might mean that he will not be running for reelection to the Senate in the 3rd District. (He can always change his mind and run for reelection). But, if he does, he will be facing a primary.
Christina School Board president Eric M. Anderson announced today his intent to participate in the 2012 Democratic Party primary for Delaware State Senate District 3. […] A graduate of William Penn High School and the University of Delaware, Anderson is a math teacher at the Charter School of Wilmington. His term on the Christina School Board runs until 2015.
New and younger leadership is good for Democrats too, and I commend Mr. Anderson for throwing his hat in the ring. I look forward to hearing more about him and his ideas. You can follow him on Twitter here.
