A new Iowa State University/Gazette/KCRG pollhas Ron Paul leading the GOP field with 28%, followed by Newt Gingrich at 25%, Mitt Romney at 18%, Rick Perry at 11%, Michele Bachmann at 7% and Rick Santorum at 5%.

Gary Johnson will quit the Republican presidential race and seek the Libertarian Party presidential nomination instead, Politico reports.
