    When I was in school we were always told that Mt Cuba (near WAMS) was the highest point in DE then it was changed to Ebright Rd

    WAMS??? .You are showing your age. In junior high at Brandywine springs we used to dance to 1380 am -Wams on little portable radioo. we did the “twist” with Chubby Checker .

    HA! WAMS. My sister Fran and I got twin transisters one mid-60’s Christmas that were set to WAMS 24/7. And at Springer Jr. High, my friend Charlie Halloran led the contest that brought the big WAMS Heart Fund Dance to our school cafeteria circa 1972.
