The Battle of the Karens

Finally, Karen Hartley-Nagle is useful. She has filed suit against Karen Weldin Stewart, Elliott Jacobson, and temp agency Kelly Services, alleging they wrongfully terminated her for missing seven days of work to prepare for and attend court hearings in March. Hartley Nagle also accuses Jacobson on unwanted sexual advances. As you read this story, you will realize our new word for the day is "Adonishood."

Not much on the local scene right now. On the national scene, Romney demolishes one mansion to build a bigger mansion, the Huntsman and GOP strategy for 2016, and Feingold bows out.

Libya

Good bye Qadaffi or Gaddafi, or however the hell you spell his name. Whether or not you think it was a good idea for the U.S. to get involved in the Libyan Civil War via the NATO airstrikes, you have to give credit to President Obama and his team. He took the risk, got criticized on the left and right for it (thoughtful criticism on the left, mindless opposition on the right), and just as with the mission to get Bin Laden, now that that intervention seems to be successful with the fall of the Gaddafi regime, he deserves credit.
