Monday Open Thread [1.23.12]
I’m busy at work today, so I was only able to find two polls on Florida and not much else. Gingrich is leading in both, and PPP teases that Romney and Gingrich are neck and neck.
FLORIDA (Rasmussen): Gingrich 41, Romney 32, Santorum 11, Paul 8
FLORIDA (InsiderAdvantage): Gingrich 34, Romney 26, Paul 13 Santorum 11
Public Policy Polling is in the field right now, and they tweeted this last night:
Tags: 2012 Republican Presidential Primary, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich
Positively disgusting: http://bluearkansasblog.com/?p=8417
John, that is positively disgusting. It’s also scary as hell. What is wrong with these people?
Oh Hubert!

Regarding the assassinated cat: I’m only shocked about the spelling.
Joe Cass: That’s why I suspect a liberal did this to frame conservatives. An Arkansas conservative would have trouble with “cat.”
The TSA finally catches a real threat to our security.
I’m OK with keeping this fool grounded.
LOL @ Geezer
VC’s link is to a post taking Hube to task for a blog post on evil liberal comics. My favorite line from Hubes post is this:
I kept purchasing comics probably longer than I should have.
Ummm, yeah.
Total Wingnut Cred, being mocked by those guys. He must be proud!
Actually, I think I feel much better that this grown man with an overdeveloped interest in muscular men in tights has decided to start blogging instead of lurking around kids in comic book stores. So, maybe, just this one time we can honestly say that Newsbutthurters is actually performing some kind of public service.
Hilarious!
But the comments are the best fun here.
Thanks for this catch, VC!
The Miami Herald has an article about the local carnage wrought by Bain Capital, when they bought a local medical device company, loaded it up with debt, laid off people, shuttered the plant and took all of the profits.
Looting, I think this is called. This isn’t free enterprise or capitalism as Adam Smith might know it.
Oh my! Oh my! Oh my!
My thanks as well, VC!
Latest Gallup tracking poll has Romney ahead nationally by only 1%. It’s a five day rolling average, so Newt is almost certainly in the lead.
I’m such a sucker. I almost feel sorry for Romney now.
Thought you all would appricate that! 🙂
