Immigration right out of the gate.

  2. pandora says:

    Mitt is Mexican!

  3. pandora says:

The best thing about Ron Paul is that Mr. Pandora and I can chat about what Newt and Mitt said when Paul talks.

  4. pandora says:

Oops! Mitt denies knowing anything about attack ad on Newt. Minutes later Blitzer points out that the ad is from Romney’s campaign and ends with, “I’m Mitt Romney and I approve this message.”

The crowd boos the liar, liar pants on fire!

  5. cassandra m says:

I can’t believe that Mr. Pandora has given you a big enough alcohol allowance to watch ALL of these damn things, P.

  6. pandora says:

Actually, this one is fun. Newt and Mitt are ripping each other to shreds. It’s popcorn time!

  7. pandora says:

Newt attacks Wolf. Wolf fights back. Newt says they should discuss issues. Mitt tells Newt to say it to my face. Newt says, ok – ditches the high road – then explain your Swiss bank account. Mitt… I have a trustee who manages my blind trust.

Now there’s a winning message, Mitt.

  8. cassandra m says:

    No ice buckets?

    😆

  9. pandora says:

LOL! Newt isn’t doing that well, but… Romney has given the Dems many sound bites.

  10. socialistic ben says:

wow, what an ass hole. Romney…. but as i type this, Gringrich is talking…. him too.

  11. DE Idealist says:

The Republican Party has officially moved further to the right with regard to Israel than most Israelis

  12. pandora says:

Palestinian guy asks about peace in the middle east.

Newt and Mitt: Screw Palestine! Go Israel!

It was tough watching that poor Palestinian guy stand there listening to that.

  13. socialistic ben says:

damn, the only interesting question of the night and Santorum got it. I just realized i know almost nothing about PR or any issues that may be surrounding it.

  14. pandora says:

I agree with Josh Marshall that Mitt’s lying about the attack ad was the best moment of the night.

That video is going to played again and again and again. Altho… “I have a trustee who runs my blind trust” should get a fair amount of play.

  15. Aoine says:

@ben – email me on that and can clue you in – more than you wanted to know 😉

what is also interesting is that the majority of Hispanics in FLA are now Puerto Ricans, not Cubans and Puerto Ricans vote DEM!

LOL – but there they are – pandering to the Cuban Republican vote – good luck wid dat.

a day late and a dollar short – they will be chasing the Latino vote to hell before they get it – especially Mitt after what he has said- and now Newt with his “spanish is the language of the ghetto” and “how do you say ‘delicious’ in Cuban” OMG (that was last month) – I laughed until I cried on that one.

way to win friends and influence voters…….

  16. Jason330 says:

I just realized what the best case scenario would be. Newt gets enough delegates to force Mitt to pick him for the VP spot. Newt spends the entire campaign standing two feet behind Romney rolling his eyes and shaking his head ruefully.

  17. anon says:

Aoine – How can someone email you?

  18. Jason330 says:

Columnist Mark Shields tells of an exchange – perhaps apocryphal, like so much of Newt Gingrich – between Newt and Bob Dole, who had the sharpest tongue in town. “Why do people take such an instant dislike to me?” Newt asked. Senator Dole replied: “It saves them time.”

I didn’t see the debate, but from most reports Newt is done. Our beautiful dream of a long messy primary is quickly fading.

  19. Jason330 says:

Newt continues to tank on IEM overnight trading at 9 cents a share. Romney now trading at $0.86 per share and looks to be on track to eclipse his record high of $0.92

  20. Truth Teller says:

Because this debate took place in Florida a state where all Jewish doctors and Lawyers send their parents to retire ( good for them ) I was waiting for Mittens to be asked ( considering he is a bishop in the Mormon Church ) Has he preformed or taken part in the cults practice of Baptizing Dead Jews in order to save their souls?

  21. MJ says:

“Because this debate took place in Florida a state where all Jewish doctors and Lawyers send their parents to retire…” Thanks for the narrow-minded comment TT.

  22. Jason330 says:

It is a decent question though. Are the (to outsiders) somewhat odd LDS traditions and practices fair game to ask about? I don’t see Obama going there because he is a classy guy, but I could see Wolf Blitzer going there.

  23. anonymous says:

Oh TT have’nt you learned a lesson on this blog yet. Do NOT mention the word Jewish in any context or you will be forever billed as an anti semite.

  24. socialistic ben says:

Aoine, unfortunately im a jerk and dont have your email anymore. Ben = teapublican jerk.
I have however decided to educate myself about PR. Why aren’t they a state? what benefits does staying a territory offer? how does the Right wing foment hate in order to keep PR from becoming a state? How awesome is the Bacardi distillery? Why can “america proper” have a Popular Democratic party?

  25. Truth Teller says:

    http://news.yahoo.com/bain-attack-ad-against-romney-air-florida-221206782.html

A interesting piece of news about Bain capital

Just stating a fact MJ no foul intended

  26. socialistic ben says:

MJ, you know as well as i do that what TT said is true…. if it wasnt, you wouldnt have helped promote “the great schlep” 4 years ago.

  27. socialistic ben says:

I really dont like the idea of drumming up anti mormon hatred. Yes, it accomplishes our goal of watching Mittens crumble lose… and by extension the GOTP, but that is what THEY do. We all know a few mormons personally and we all know they are not crazy cultists. I doubt Romney is even that devout. I guess what im saying is, of all the things that bother and disturb me about Mitt, his Mormonism is last on the list. Therefor, I dont like attempts to play it up to the people for whom it would be first on their list.
