    Congrats on your daughter’s upcoming wedding! Yes, this is the Buena Vista. Some history: this house was named after a battle won by President Zachary Taylor, when he was a General in the Mexican War. The house was built and owned by John M. Clayton, who was Secretary of State under President Taylor. It is one of the northernmost “peach mansions” in the country.
