Rmoney’s team of crack campaign staff had him deliver an economic address (YAWN) yesterday to about 1200 people in Ford Stadium. Ford Stadium that has a Sunday football capacity of 65,000. Think Progress has posted up a picture from Rmoney’s event and pictures from comparable Obama events from February of 2008. So take a look:
So what were they thinking? I mean, this is pathetic — especially since I gather that they knew the group the invites were going to would never fill that space or even come close. Have we gotten to the point in the GOP primary race where even Rmoney’s staffers don’t like him? I mean, if there is a way to remind people that Rmoney is as plastic as they think he is, show him in a big stadium that he obviously couldn’t fill.
