Delaware Liberal Tracking Poll Results — Tom Kovach
This is why I called Tom Kovach a credible candidate in the mode of a Castle. He seems like a likeable guy, and that is because he does try to get everyone to like him. He charmed me at a Delaware Liberal Twin Lakes function a couple of years ago, and then appeared at a Tea Party rally as one of them.
Kovach has a 49% approval rating and a 37% disapproval rating. That is good for a Republican in the State of Delaware actually running for something this year. How do they compare to John Carney’s numbers? I’m glad you asked. John Carney fares better, having a 56% approval rating, and a 32% disapproval rating. But with two candidates with net positive ratings, it will be a close election.

Next up in our surveys of the Republican opposition this election season is Jack Markell’s opponent: business Jeff Cragg.
As these campaigns progress I suspect they’ll get better at freeping. I’m a bit surpised that Kovack isn’t as adept at it as Wagner.
I wonder if there isn’t some survey or poll software out there that is less susceptible to freeping…..
Need a Tea Partier to primary Kovach — could score big points saying Kovach has a 49 percent favorable rating at Delaware Liberal.
I was under the impression that we are supposed to want the best representative… not a “tea partier to primary Kovach.” I’m assuming that the implication is that if Kovach loses in the primary, it makes the win easier for Carney. Isn’t that what we are supposed to be inherently against? John Carney should face a tough general opponent– Delaware will be better off for it.
